Spring Brings Changes!

Hi Friend!

Some exciting changes are in the making! The first change is our newsletter. I will continue to make posts here, and you will continue to receive them, but you will also receive my new newsletter with articles written for you in mind.

I am also happy to announce a new seminar: Accessor-ease! Have you ever been frustrated with decorating your mantle, coffee table, sofa table, or any flat surface? If you answered yes, then this is the seminar for you! I will keep you updated on the dates and locations.

You can help me with future articles and get rewarded for doing so. Answer the following question and take 15% off any redesign service:

"What is your biggest decorating challenge?"

Call or email: 214-532-9677, Holly@ReinventingRooms.biz
Decorating tip: Welcome the birds and your guests with a bird bath! Place the bird bath (this one is from Southern Living at Home) on the porch near the front door. Add colorful aquarium rocks and glass marbles first, then add water, finish it off with white mums or daisies.

Color Trends for Spring

Hooray! Spring is almost here and I am ready to start planting flowers and experimenting with new color combinations!

The trendy colors this season are fresh and fun. The colors remind me of Easter eggs: periwinkle, lime, orange, lilac, violet and yellow...bright, happy, sunny yellow!

Louise Smith, color and design manager for Dulux, says, "This is the year to go wild and express yourself. Since fewer people will be moving, the onus is on personalization and reinvention."
(excerpt taken from The Dallas Morning News)

Did you here that? This is the year for "Reinvention." A beautiful room does not have to be costly. A little paint and fabric with the rearrangement of some accessories can perk things up!
